After the worship gathering, a ministry training session in teaching/preaching is being provided to interested members of the church. 

Held every alternative Sunday, twice a month, participants are encouraged to speak, or rather preach from a selected verse or passage of scripture.  Each person has about two weeks to prepare and give a 10-minute talk.  While some take this exercise and learning experience seriously and prepare well, others do so only on the day they are to speak or prepare without having an outline or notes.

The value addition of this exercise is that the moderator sits and takes notes of their effort and then provides a critique.  The tips and comments help each budding preacher to hone their skills and improve their presentation ability.  In the process they learn what to do and what not to do. 

Please pray that these sessions will prove abundantly enriching to those who partake, so that their endeavors to become teachers of the word might be abundantly blessed by the Lord for His glory and for His service, especially at CCGV.
