Believing Jesus
What is the most important prayer anyone could pray?
- The most important prayer is the one to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Thanks to
what Jesus Christ, God's only Son, did on your behalf, all of us have the opportunity to enter into God's
presence for all eternity. Of course, none of us deserve to live in God's perfect presence because we are all
sinners.
- John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life."
- Matthew 7:8 'For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh
it shall be opened.'
- If you want Jesus Christ to be your personal Lord and Savior, then talk with God now and tell Him you'd
like to receive Him. Pray a simple prayer along these lines & mean it in your heart...
- "My Father and My God, thank You for sending Your Son Jesus Christ to die in my place. I believe that Your Son
is Almighty God in the Flesh, as Your Holy Word declares, and that He is alive today and He rose from the dead.
Please forgive me and help me turn from my sinful ways. I now place my trust in Jesus Christ and receive from Him
the free gift of eternal life. Be my Lord and savior. Amen'
- If you prayed this prayer or a prayer similar to this one and meant it in your heart, then you need to tell
somebody you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
- Romans 10:9 'For it is with your heart that you believe, and are justified, and it is with your mouth
that you confess and are SAVED.'
- Luke 9:26 "If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes
in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels."
- Tell a friend a neighbor or family member anyone will do, (You can even email Calvary Chapel Prayer Chain at
the email address below) as long as you confess to someone that you have accepted Him as your Savior.
- If you have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you need to find a Bible Believing Church to
fellowship at; a Church that relies solely on the Word of God for teaching and spiritual growth in the Lord. It
should be a church that does not rely on human tradition or rules. May the Lord bless you and yours!
